Inserting Hyperlinks in Cascade
- Within a page you can put a link to a page or site
- You need to select Internal or External link
- Internal
- links to documents within your cascade directory
- External
- links to documents not in your cascade directory
Inserting an Internal Hyperlink:
- Highlight the text or select the image that you want to turn into a hyperlink.

- Click the “Insert/edit link” button.
- A new window will open

- There are two waysin which you can find the page you want to link to.
- Click on either the

buttons to see a list of suggested files. These files will usually be pages or images that you have just created, uploaded or edited. An example is shown below:

- Click on the “Browse” button
to navigate through existing pages and folders. You can locate the page you wish to link. An example is shown below:

- Click on either the
- Locate the internal webpage you want as a link. When found, click on the webpage and select “Confirm”.

- Click on “Insert”

- You have now created an internal link
Inserting an External Hyperlink:
- Highlight the text that you want to turn into a hyperlink.
- Click the “Insert/edit link” button.

- A new window will open. Select the “External” tab.

- Type or paste the URL you want to link to into the “Link” field.
- Click on “Insert”

- You have now created an external link.
